This wedding was a fantastic occasion! It was also very unique. When I first met Thomas and Claudette last year they had told me the day would be a multi-celebration. Obviously they were tying the knot, but also had a little miracle (called Max) they wanted to baptise. And to put the icing on the cake, Claudette had her birthday at midnight!
The reception (held at the Barnes Hotel in Bedford) was quite lovely. The decor was fantastic. The building was quite old and boasted some great photo opportunities.
The inclusion of the red London double decker bus was also a first for me, and I really wanted to utilise it in the shoot. The last image above is one of my favourites of the day.
Thomas (the groom) was from Germany, and so they had flown all his family and friends over and even brought some authentic German lager (barrels a plenty) for the big day!
This was the first wedding of 2013, and a great one to get the ball rolling. It was pleasure to be part of this day, what a fantastic celebration and some lovely people!
